Last weekend I made my first attempt at archery mule deer. It was a huge learning experience both in terms of the deer themselves as well as my pack set up and what I do and don't need. I went into this knowing how important glassing was, but the hardest part is trying to visualize a practical stalk! Didn't close the deal but also kept from blowing anything out of the area, plan on going back in in a couple of weeks.
