Just curious what everyone's finished arrow weight is for:

Muley's

Elk

I saw an article that 5-7 grains per draw pound is the recommended arrow weight. For a 70 lbs bow, that is a range of 350g- 490g.

this year my finished arrow weight is 471 grains @ 300fps, draw weight is 75lbs

i use that setup for everything, elk my primary focus, muleys, and whitetails if i get the chance

Man that is some serious KE!

350 grains, 70lb draw at 280fps, but my tackle is a wee bit old. :)

Damn Shaun, do you even find any of your arrows after you kill something with it?

Not sure what my speed will be on my new set-ups. But I will be flinging either 450 gr or 475 gr this year.

Havent got to use them on an animal yet besides ground squirrels with judos and they blow through and keep going. I am probably goin to run up the hill and hammer a hog pretty quick just so I can see what it will do.
