Some people work simmer down. I don’t own a bore scope. These 3 pics are from my buddy’s super cheap bore scope

Obviously trash pics but you can’t see a rifling. I’ll see if I can get to a gunsmith and get more for you guys.

Here is a pic of the rifle with my screen name, date, time, and title of this thread.

Here is a few pics from the muzzle with a flash light. Best I could do right this second. Again, no rifling.

Hope this helps. I’m not saying they don’t build a nice, good shooting rifle. A google search can show that. I’m saying if you get a lemon their customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. I still have the gun so any of you guys that are in the southern Oregon area can PM me and I’ll show it to you. It’s unreal and a ton of people messed up along the way, including me. I have never cleaned a new barrel before shooting. I have cheap guns and pretty expensive and it’s never effected anything for me. How much stuff gets in my barrel on a 8 day backpack hunt in the Frank before I pull the trigger. I do now check for rifling, use my calipers to get a rough mic of diameter, and a longer list of things before I pull the trigger. I thought every gun had to be test fired before it leaves a factory, and Fierce told me they test fire their guns. Still my mess up to not check.

Holy $hit. My dad bought a 28 Nosler that the bolt would hardly open and then couldn't pull the case out. They did take it back and admitted that they cut WAY too many chambers with the same reamer, leaving super rough chambers the would cause the case to stick in them. They re-reamed it and it worked fine after that. They clearly have some terrible QC. I wouldn't buy one for sure.

Like I said in my first post I left so much out it’s not even funny. We tried to have that talk with them about the reamer and they blamed everyone but themselves. Bad deal cause if they would have just handled everything correctly from the start we would probably be happy campers and singing their praise. I see lots of people saying good things about their rifles but it can also go bad quick.

Such a bummer. I know everyone turns out a bad one every now and again but I see quite a bit of negative stuff about them. I was really tempted to try one of the new Rogue rifles but the more I read the less sure I am.

I don’t care about getting a bad one it’s how the problem is fixed that matters. I totally understand things happen. I bought a Swaro ATS and after a couple months I started noticing little like water droplets inside my field of view. They paid for shipping both ways and fixed it asap no questions asked.

That Rogue definitely has some nice features for the price but not for me.

That’s an amazing picture. Hard to imagine a person chucked that up in a lathe and threaded and crowned it but never noticed the lack or rifling.
Makes me think drugs may have been involved.

I guess it’s clearly not a “hand lapped” barrel. LOL!

Question: How do I break in the barrel on my Fierce rifle?

Answer: The Fierce rifle barrels are hand-lapped match grade stainless steel barrels. The hand lapping process starts the break in process.

Those are insane pics. The fact you still have the rifle says volumes. If a real company had screwed up like this, they would be bending over backwards to fix it.

Let talk about the DANGER that rifle posed. Chamber pressures had to be way high. Someone could have gotten hurt or killed. They should want the rifle back simply for safety and to avoid a lawsuit. Makes me question the people running the company.

Fierce released this video several years ago specifically related to their 28 Nosler in which they stated it was “…100% an ammo problem”. About the same time I was considering getting a semi-custom rifle and had contacted them along with a few other “nicer” rifle makers. Two or three phone calls, lots of questions, a few emails exchanges over a few days, and quickly my first impression of them was poor attitude towards customer service. Seemed like I was bothering them or taking up their precious time. Nope, not buying from them! Made it easy to move on to looking at other makers.

I have had two incredibly bad customer service experiences with them. I would not give Fierce another penny of mine.

This escalated quickly and I appreciate that. There have been complaints about Christensen’s QC and CS but this is another level.

How did you not notice it didnt have rifling before you shot it?
Never looked and already said that’s on me. As stated earlier I don’t clean barrels on new guns before I shoot them. Maybe I should. I definitely look through every gun now better than before.

Also, I had my first kid right after my first time shooting it. Long story as well but he’s had 3 open heart surgeries. First one was at 5 days old. All that was going on when I was shooting the rifle. Shooting was a way to escape the hardest time in my life but I also wasn’t thinking the clearest.
