Feral Horses

An invasive species, which has a tremendous negative environmental impact across the West. Regretfully, we don't treat them as an invasive species because of the public's perception of horses and how they aided western expansion. The BLM spends piles of our tax dollars annually on wild horses.

They are no different than hogs...they should be shot on sight.

shoot on sight if the land cant support them [ and it cant]

if you cant feed em, you dont need em!!

lots of useless horses are dumped and add to the problem.

worst thing that happened for the animals was closing the packing plants.

i dont want my tax dollars going to feed them.

HOWL makes it easy to share your thought with law makers. Please chime in on the issue.

I remember when PETA burnt down the horse packing plant in Redmond. Now we have feral horses everywhere that nobody wants to do anything with besides ignore the main issue which is we just need to kill them off.

The horse “sanctuaries” are a joke of tax payer $$.

There are Antis parked out on the Highway in northern Nev/ Southern Oregon watching over those feral horses while they decimate that sensitive high country.

Every water hole has a 1/4 mile or more of barren ground- trampled to dust- around it from those horses

Anyway, like I was sayin', horse is the fruit of the plains. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, horse-kabobs, horse creole, horse gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple horse, lemon horse, coconut horse, pepper horse, horse soup, horse stew, horse salad, horse and potatoes, horse burger, horse sandwich. That- that's about it.

Let’s just say for a second that people that understood biology and carrying capacity decided to form an anti feral horse campaign where they strap a belt fed machine gun on a t100 and spotlighted em and lit them up….. would that work?

Helicopter hunt them like hogs...they are a little bigger game so I probably size up according...I would go with M134 mini gun...belt fed single barrel machine guns are soooo 90s....

We have feral horses on federal land in Virginia. Most people hate them but there are special interests groups that will take the government to court to protect them.

I am an east coaster but caught this little video on the topic that I thought explained it very well. Compassionate yet intelligently told by a scientist .

A scientist? That's the sitka/patagucci terrorist himself, Charles Post. Yes, he completed a master's in ecology from the adult daycare known as UC Berkely.....but calling him a scientist is a bit rich. Mr. Post describes his career as a brand consultant....AKA he's an instagram model. :ROFLMAO:

I follow him on social media and find his stuff pretty good. Posts himself hunting too which is rare for people of his ilk. That being said I still think the video took a scientific angle rather than a PETA one
