Feedback on Preferred Barrel Hybrid Lite for Tikka T3x Lite

Anyone have a 16” or 16.5” Preferred Hybrid Light? Is that still the ideal contour to go with for the weight conscious?

Current barrel is a 22” Ace SP3, overall rifle weight is over 10lbs. Wanting to put together something lighter together this time around. Based on @snowtoy83 ‘s barrel I imagine it would come in around 29-30oz.

18” 6 creed in hybrid lite contour. Exactly what I have been wanting.

I'm shooting a 16" PBB 6 Creed with a US OG65. It's pretty sweet. It's real close to the factory lite barrel. My trainer has a factory 223 barrel cut to 16" and its nearly identical to the 6 Creed hunting rifle and the 223 is .5 oz heavier.

PVA .680 taperless is real light too. Mines fluted. It's like a twig on their big fat shank they do.

what length is your .680 and weight? I got a 24in .68 fluted (2lb 9oz) but should have gone shorter after getting used to shooting 18 and 20 inch.barrels. debating sending it to kampfield to cut it but its a shooter and I probably shouldn't screw it up

PVA .680 Taperless 18" 6 Creed with 6 straight flutes is 31.45 oz.
