So far been really happy with them in my 7 PRCs
CA Ridgeline in 22" with Hyperion K:

You might want to work on your breathing technique next time out. Should be able to tighten that group up real nice.

That's sucks. So far I've shot 175 grain Edge TLR in my 30-06 and 300 WM and 175 grain TA in my 30-06. Groups are all less than 1" but not 1/2 MOA stellar.

I'm picking up my 6.5 PRC today so hopefully it groups well o/w I will have to: WTS 6.5 PRC TA. LOL

Still think it’s a great load, my rifle just doesn’t like it. My buddies Tikka 7 mag loves the 155s.

Good luck with the 6.5, I almost went with one over the .270 win but decided I didn’t need the extra reach. I’d prefer to be within 500, and they’re pretty damn close at that range.

I think for those who don’t like the idea of match bullets, the TA seems like a better version of “hunting bullets”

We have killed around a dozen blacktail/roosies with them and a couple bear, which are not great for bullet testing, still relatively small sample size, but they have behaved consistently (mostly 130gr 6.5 creed and a couple 175gr 308)

The bullets I have recovered look like an pissed off accubond, similar weight retention but more jagged… accubonds usually expand into a nice smooth mushroom, the TA seem to have jagged edges but still hold together inside 400 where I have shot them/seen them used

I have close to 400rds left of factory loaded 308, but I will probably end up selling them all because I plan to turn that rifle into a 6arc for my daughter (that’s my excuse anyway)

We have since switched to eldm in my wife’s creed, but the TA did serve us well, and shot really well out of the rifles we shot them in. For those who want a high weight retention hunting bullet, I think federal did a good job

Took my muley a week ago at ~40 yards with the 6.5 130 Gr TA. Both rounds exited with no meat damage at all (except a couple inches of flank), left golf ball size exits, and the animal expired in less than 30 seconds within 15 yards of where I first shot. Very pleased with the performance.

6.5 PRC no game yet. Working on load. Factory TA shoots 1.25". Reloads, best group was 1.1". Not impressed thus far with accuracy. Picked up 127 grain LRX and those shot 1.5-2". Gun sent back for a look over. Doesn't seem right.

What rifle? My Tikka roughtech 6.5 prc with the D18 barrel shoots both factory loads lights out. My Weatherby Mark V .270 won’t shoot either worth a damn, so I get your frustration.

Seekins Precision PH2. 140 rounds down the tube so it's broke in. Everything is torqued down correctly per specs. New Nightforce NXS scope so I don't think it's a scope issue. Sent it back one week ago but I haven't heard anything yet. If I can't get it to shoot I'm going to switch to a Tikka T3x Lite. Irritating for sure.

Definitely doesn't sound right for a notoriously accurate off-the-shelf gun.

300WM TAs in my Tikka and Proof carbon pre-fit, TBAC ultra 7, first 3 shots on a cold bore:

The TAs shoot a consistent 100fps faster in 3 of my rifles when compared side by side to the Hornady precision hunter ammo. so far i have been pleased with their accuracy but haven't taken an animal with them yet.

Yeah that's odd... my element loves the TA in 6.5 PRC. My 10 round group was about 1 - 1.25"

2 antelope and 3 deer killed with the 130 TA this year. All performed great. I really like this bullet.

I wanted to love them, I think they’re a great design. My 7 mag didn’t really like them. I used the Federal factory ammo and it was a 1.6” 10 shot group. Maybe I’ll hand load them in the future if I can get the component bullets.
