It’s a bummer NDSU pissed it down their leg the final minutes vs USD and lost the 1 seed. Would have USD instead of SDSU this weekend. However, I still think SDSU is the team to beat and if the Bison can’t beat ‘em at home, they sure wouldn’t have on a neutral field. So maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. Im just happy I can get the games on my antenna TV! 😂

You may be right, but I like MSU with Tommy Mellot. If he can maintain the level of play he's at, they'll be tough to beat.

Really looking forward to the games this weekend. I think both have the potential to be stellar.
USD isn't going to be able to get away with giving the ball away like they did last weekend. Hoping the Jackrabbits can keep the offense moving against NDSU, but SDSU v NDSU always seem to be defensive battles.

How MSU handles USD will tell a lot how they can match up to the others in a championship game (if they make it). NDSU had the blue print and SDSU openly says they saw over a decade what it would take to beat them and SDSU went out and created it. Now USD did the same. If you can’t beat ‘em, join em. The MVFC brand is control time of possession, dominate the line, and defense wins championships. The Big Sky brand is more of an Oregon style track meet. I think MSU’s coach being in the NDSU system for 20 years gives him an edge on how to matchup and we’re seeing that product he built over the last few years.

If MSU can keep matchups on the line 1 vs 1, they have the edge with a slightly more mobile QB. If they need to double those big MVFC D linemen, Tommy will have to deal with a blitz and a spy or two all game and that will take away a huge part of MSU’s game and a lot of points. It’s hard to pick a favorite. All four teams were built to play for a championship.

Yeah, long time NDSU fan. and I wouldn't bet my own money on either game. Really impressed with what USD has done, and finally seeing MSU first hand, if Tommy is accurate that is going to be a very tough team to beat. My prediction is turnovers and special teams play a huge factor in the outcome of both games.
