What a dog fight! Congrats to you MT fans. Your skill players are really something! I'm cheering for you in the championship (don't tell my SD friends).

Uuugghh... that 2 point conversion play call... WTH? O line had totally dominated for the last bit and you call that? Terrible! ... and I'd say that even if they got the 2.

Both teams left everything they had on the field, well played and fought on both teams.

I think everyone knew it would be a battle royale, right to the end. I certainly wasn't expecting (or hoping for) an overtime, let alone a double overtime- not good for the ticker :ROFLMAO:

Go Jacks! Big time Jacks fan. Grew up east river in SD, went to school at SDSU. That drubbing against Albany was not expected at all, But not disappointed .

Really happy that Griz beat the Bison. Heck of a game.

SDSU was fortunate that we did not lose a bunch of players to the portal after last year. To me, NDSU losing a bunch after last year is just an indicator of coaching/program issues. NDSU has been on a coaching carousel, and was impressed with how they kept winning. All dynasties come to an end.

Do not expect to see another NDSU type run in FCS anytime soon. Their run has been impressive to say the least.

Agree (well except the Go Jacks part :ROFLMAO:) I know there is a lot more parity in the Big Sky Conference then there ever has been; ditto I'm sure in the MVC. What NDSU did, in really what was a very short time, is super impressive, but likely not to be repeated again- by anyone.

Jacks are starting a pretty good run of their own. I think the transfer portal might make runs like that tougher.. or will it be easier for the bigger $ programs with booster $ to spare? Hard tellin.

But I don’t know if I recall a bison team as dominant as the jacks have been the past couple years.

Bison 2017-21 39 game winning streak, still the longest in FCS history.

Be interesting to see how sdsu stacks up next year. I wanna say I recall hearing they had 35 seniors on the roster this year.

You're right, I went back and looked at some of those years. They were boringly dominant.

Anyways, go Griz!

Its good for FCS to have the montana teams playing at a high level! I always root for them in Non-NDSU games.

Gotta root for the Jacks guys, being a SD native and most of my family that have gone to college, or at least completed college, went to SDSU. I didn't honor that tradition and went out of state, although spent a lot of time on that campus in the day with my brother. They are on a pretty decent run right now. Should be a good game. I am not far from Frisco in Tulsa, but doubt I have time to run down. Think the Jacks even got an OU player in the portal this year.

Will be rooting for the Griz, both MT schools do an awesome job of keeping talent in state. But the rabbits are ridiculous this year. Had wanted to go to Missoula for Bison game, but ended up watching it with 2 Griz alumn that are now into coaching.
Brawl of the Wild, at both stadiums, is on the Bucket List. Stadiums and atmosphere look elite, and college ball is supposed to be outside, not in a dome. smh ND

Yeah I think the Griz have 46 Montana kids, MSU 44- pretty good at recruiting local kids.

I agree- no domes! :D

Great back and forth game. Unfortunately I think the winner of the game was vying for 2nd place in National championship game. Not a Jackrabbits fan, but neither Grizz or Bison showed me enough to think they can out duel the Bunnies. (But in 1980, a group of college kids beat some commies on ice, so who knows)

At least the Grizz have a ticket. Congratulations.
