Favorite Podcast Episode

Pints with Aquinas has some interesting episodes. I’m not catholic but I do enjoy listening to theological conversations from educated people and there are some good ones on it.

If you are into writing or books, Dedicated with Doug Brunt has some entertaining episodes. It’s great to peel back the curtain on writing and the process. Thankfully it is not pretentious ala NPR, but very good.

The Ishi episode of Bear Grease with Clay Newcomb was excellent. Clay is a vastly superior storyteller than rinella and understands how to “get there”. That episode gave me tha feelz. Very good.

I guess I should contribute some as well, some of my favorites as of recently:

The Elk Hunt Podcast - “Paul Medel Returns”
Paul does a great job breaking down calling and tactics in a way that’s easy to listen to.

The Elk Talk Podcast Episode 151 -156
They get into the fine details of elk behavior and tactics based off the time of year.

The Mind Pump Podcast
Seems to be geared more towards bodybuilding over functional fitness but they get into nutrition and workout science in a beneficial way.

Mike Rowe the way I heard it with Theo Vonn.

Theo with garbage man, lunch lady and Amish kid!

Jocko with his daughter.

Season 1 of Serial about the Adnan Syed case and S-Town. These two are older but really good story telling. S-Town is about this crazy guy in Alabama.

I’ll have to check out Mike Rowes podcast with Theo, I listened to the one when Mike was on This Past Weekend and it was pretty good.

Bear Grease: The Donnie Baker Story over his poached 204" Whitetail, he is a guest and tells his story of how he poached it. 2 Part podcast, this one sticks out in my head, it's a pretty wild listen.
