I used to wear Meindl Lite Hiker's but went through 3 pairs of them. Now I have White's Owyhee. No complaints.

I think the Breeze went to sh!t. I bought a pair in early 2016 and put a hundreds of miles on them, no break in, waterproof issues. I bought the updated version in 2018 and they were junk from the start. Every review online I read afterwards said the same thing.

I would agree with this statement. I tried them after seeing them recommended them many times here on RS.

They showed up at Sierra for $99. I figured hell yes. They are comfortable. But they are not waterproof on day 1. I'm into my 9th month with mine and they are quite literally falling apart everywhere. Delaminating everywhere. I'm sure they were great boots at a time but not anymore.
