Favorite backpack lid

I have the mystery ranch metcalf and I like the pack but after two seasons I have to say I’m not a big fan of the lid. Looking to upgrade what have you all found you like.

MR put out a new lid this year that has daypack straps. It works fine but “meh”. Kifaru didn’t thrill either. I occasionally use a 22l daypack hydration bag as a lid. It is great for side trips and comfortable but it can add some weight to your pack. I can’t recall exactly but it has to weigh close to 2# empty.

I really like exo's lid. They sent everyone new lids for the K3 packs because on the originals the angle of the buckles wasn't correct. I kept the old one after I sold the k3 and use it on the front of my kifaru stryker.

Ditto with the new K3 lids. The K2 was OK but the newer lids are fantastic.

big fan of the SG hydro lid, i dont keep water in it but the divider in the middle keeps small stuff nice and organized.

For something light and minimal seek outside lid Is pretty nice.

I liked the original kifaru long hunter lid quite a bit
