I totally agree about suppressed .22 Pistols. I'm seriously considering a buckmark16" Tikka T1x for a rifle or a Ruger MKIV w/ a red dot for a pistol. A suppressed .22 pistol is about as much fun to shoot as any gun out there
I have a takedown but its not threaded. I think i'd start over with the carbon rather than buying a threaded barrel.Hard to beat a good ol Ruger 10/22. Especially their new carbon one.
Light as a feather. Accurate too. Or get a takedown backpack model.
I have a 457 but its the bull barrel. I might rock that on a few hunts but its heavier than it needs to be. for pistol I'm seriously considering a buckmark because of the trigger.I have 7 CZs (455s and 457s) and would suggest a CZ 457 American. Threaded sporter-weight barrel. My 455 American:

The Scout is a nice shooter are well (have one), but the stock is too short for most adults. The Royal is very nice, but I can't get past the logo carved into the stock.
I also have three 10/22s and they can be nice guns too, but most really need a little trigger work and precision with factory barrels can be all over the board.
Did someone say "Mk IV" with a dot?

yeah man. that stock is fantastic. such a nice package. with everything you need and nothing you dontI like this one a lot, weight is with 3 fully loaded mags in the stock. Sight is mounted to the barrel so never loses zero with disassembly.
