Father's day one mile shooting

My son and I spent the day shooting at one mile and 825 yards. We were shooting a .338 Big Baer (.408/.338) and a .338 Baer (about the same as the .338 Lapua just a tad faster) and a 300 Win Mag at 825 yards (ran out of elevation and had to hold for it). One mile target 24" diameter.

The closest thing I have ever done to that much fun was taking turns putting a guy with a puffy coat and mad bomber hat 100 yards down range with a can on his head and taking pot shots with a red rider BB gun. Talk about hold over. When my buddy finally hit the can, you would have thought he had just won a gold medal.
