Oops, wedding is in Bailey. We'll be flying in and renting a car (I think). Ideally we can spend most of our time around where the wedding is so we don't need to spend too $$ on different places to stay

Yes, there is plenty to do within a day drive of Bailey, no need to drive all over the state.

Just a heads up May can be dicey for weather in the front range foothills and mountains. At minimum be sure to rent an all wheel drive car or SUV. I'm about 20 minutes from Bailey and this is a Mothers Day storm from a couple years ago which is pretty common.
