extra wet this year, yes. but you have to fix it when it needs fixed.
you loose muscle mass and bone density.
lifting heavy things regularly can turn that around.....just do it.
This is me. Well said.At 60 I am less physically able ,a lot wiser and much more careful. I cant get myself out of some situations with my stamina , strength and balance any longer. So I try to use my wisdom of 50 years in the outdoors to stay out of trouble. Most importantly to limit injuries. I don't bounce back or heal as quickly as I used to. I’ ll be danged if I’m going stop pursuing my outdoor activities and I dont care to be on the sidelines for an injury.
I would agree with this. I think the most important thing is to stay mobile and as flexible as possible. I think we could do a lot worse than do a daily yoga routine as we age.A well conceived strength/fitness & nutrition program will help you prevent injuries.
I think it is very important to be trim and strong as you age.
I also agree, well stated. You have to be more careful and thoughtful because one mishap could take you months to recover from.At 60 I am less physically able ,a lot wiser and much more careful. I can believe it, at 60 it is hard too pick up if your miss a couple of days of exercise. It is like starting at the beginning.I have a friend in his late 80s. He said up until your early to middle 80s, you can keep up with your strength. After that if you miss a day of exercise you go to square one and start over.
Cant find the DISLIKE button for (post holes by hand) I just started getting my cow feed in 50 lb bags. 100s were hurting my pride.done hay last week.
