I have a Seekins PH3 in .300 Win mag currently coming back from them after some accuracy issues (bad bolt face) BUT I have about 150rds through this gun so far. It's enjoyable to shoot caliber considering! HOWEVER, am I missing something by shooting the factory muzzle brake? SRS option better. any other options to just help when not shooting suppressed? Thanks!!!

I shot a Seekins .300 a couple of years ago at the range, the owner let me try it. I'm 90% sure it was the factory brake and man it really tamed down that rifle. I had a 7.5lb .308 (unbraked) with me and that .300 was much easier to shoot, muzzle blast notwithstanding. Unless you're just wanting a different look, if the factory one does it for you, why change?

The only bad thing about the factory brake is the fact its a radial brake. I have one and would be changing it out to a side baffle brake if I wasn't going suppressed. The ports on the bottom kick up a bunch of dirt/dust when shooting prone.
