expensive vs inexpensive ML (open sites)

Thanks for the feedback all! Are there any comparable sights out there to the Revic. Seems like a crazy price for what it is

Looks like you can add reference marks to a Williams?

There are some custom sights that aren’t much different but you absolutely don’t need a dial up peep sight with a muzzy. Shoot a flat-shooting load with a 150 yard (or so) zero and you’ll have a very useable MPBR.

Here’s an example table for a very standard .452 300 gr bullet like an SST in a sabot with 120 grV B$209. You can see that the MPBR is further than your likely to shoot with iron sights.

It's not as simple as "blank number of clicks=blank number of minutes." Iron sights reference on the distance between the sights to form the tangent. Sights that are 28" apart and 20" apart will respond differently to the click values. On my hawken my sights are 32" apart and my williams adjustments are .134 moa to the click....which is about 7.5 clicks to the minute.

If you watch the videos I posted shooting the 300yd clays, I gave a quick glimpse on how I cheat the counting by building a wedge that I calibrated like a gauge block with different elevations for known distances.

My Williams is like .165 moa/click. Literally the only benefit from the FP over the standard ghost ring for me was ease and consistency at sight in. In the field I’m not touching it.

There’s a formula somewhere out there on a diff forum.

I use a custom front with a .010 fiber optic and it still covers a lot of meat at 200…deer get small that far
