exo mountain pack

I tried on an osprey the other day and this pack is leaps and bound better. I think most people will be happy, no barreling, solid but flexible frame, quality bag, I just need to put some miles on it but just walking around the house I think it will be great.

Awesome posts nv. Thanks for taking the time for us. That has to be the biggest JACKELOPE I have ever seen! Where did you get him at?

Nice pics... this set up is becoming more and more attractive. NV how big are you? That thing looks pretty good size for only being 3500 cu inches. Anyone know when the Exo will be available in Foliage ?

Awesome, have an ASAT coming i guess in 2-3 weeks so i think the Foilage would be another 2-3 after that i believe. NVCHUKAR can i ask how the stretch pocket seems as far as durability? Just wondering how it would handle wear in that area, just curious, the wait is killing me, ha, ha, thanks for the pics.

The frame height looks perfect to me. NVCHUCKAR what is your torso length and how tall are you. I'm impressed with how much you can fit in the bag. The stretch pockets seem like a big advantage.

I am 5'9" 150 with a 19 inch torso. The stretch pocket seems heavy duty, Its much thicker than the stuff on Rei type packs. And yes it will hold more than my dt3. The frame feels solid. It does not flex when pulling the load lifters or tightening compressing straps. The only movement it really has is in the twisting aspect. I still need to get out and hike with it for a few days before I can give you guys any solid answers oh how it carries.

Looks awesome, can't wait to get mine. Looks like I'll get plenty of lift with only a 17" torso. Has anyone heard when the second run of CB will be? I'm assuming it got pushed back a bit since I originally heard it would be by the end of May.

So I THINK ASAT is tentatively shipping the end of this week, with foliage being built next. If that's right, I assume 2-3 weeks after ASAT ships we'll see foliage.

Steve posted this pic of the ASAT harness last night.

The ASAT is being made now with a time of 2-3 weeks. Then Foliage 2-3 weeks after that. Have to figure 4-6 weeks from now? I would contact Steve though. Sure he can give you an idea on time frame minus any delays?

When I ordered mine last week Steve told me 4-5 weeks so mid June I would think

Has anyone seen an example of the Foliage colour? Similar to Mystery Ranch, Maxpedition, Magpull, Olive drab….???. you get the idea….

I'm tentative to get on board without at least seeing a colour swatch….

Thanks NV. Flyrod I believe he posted a pic of Foilage fabric on the Exo site, l have a Lateseason in Foilage and it looked similar if that helps.

Been impressed with mine so far, got it yesterday and hour after it was delivered I had it weighted down with 80lbs and knocked out 16 stories of stairs.

Load lifters work great and lumbar pad and belt kept load right where it needed to be.

Factory missed getting frame in one of the straps/frame loops, but only took me 6-8 min to put it back in. FYI, don't pull the frame bar out. Its a bear to get back in.

I think packs going to work perfect. Love the front pocket. .

NV. you the man!! i know with myself, i get too excited to take the time to stop and snap pics. thanks for doing that.

man..that pack looks AWESOME! i love how clean it looks without straps everywhere, and still have a few pockets.. it is all inclusive right? you dont have to pay to add (things)?

Boom, What NV posted is the standard pack for $450. They are coming out with belt pouches, rain covers, and some load slings. However the pack looks pretty complete as is. It really seems they did their homework on this pack.

I talked to Steve through email to inquire about the second run of CB in the 3500. Steve told me last week (Wed/Thurs) that it would be 4-5 weeks out on the second run so hopefully by the end of June. Steve also told me that the accesssories will start rolling out in the end of June beginning of July
