Exo Mountain K4?

Does a bull elk rear, bone in quarter drop easily into the 5000, or do you fight it a lot to get it to squeeze in or would the 7200 would be a better option?

I’m one of the weird ones and always throws meat in the bag instead of between bag and frame.

I've been waiting on this sale to upgrade my pack. Ordered a 5000 system and a 2200 bag, plus some other stuff. Been saving up the pennies for just such an occasion as this. That's a lot of pennies, but well spent. Thanks Exo for doing the sale!

UPDATE — We kicked the auto-discount on early. Don't worry about entering EARLY20, as the 20% discount will now be applied automatically, while supplies last.

Mark I've been looking forward to this sale for a year now, I've been stashing a little bit of cash away to be able to get my very first pack for hunting this year. I couldn't be happier to now be able to say I will own a exo pack!
Thanks for all you guys do!

You’re probably not getting a bull elk quarter in a 5000 bone in. Deboned would be hard enough.

I was a die hard meat in the bag guy but with the exo it’s easier to sandwich it and it’s more secure without adding a bunch of crap. They made the system usable.

No to putting a quarter into the 5k bag, and I don't believe the 7200 will make any difference either. The EXO isn't designed that way.

With the way the k4 is designed I think you would spend more time fighting it In the bag then just separating the frame.

That said I think bone in the 5000 would be tight.
