When strapping sandbag, meat, etc to the frame, is it better to go straight across with the buckles or across to form a cradle?

What's the expected break in time for the new lumbar pads? This is my first exo and im getting some lower back pain with pack training so far. I know they say to give it some time and let it break in and I am happy to do so. Just wondering at what point I should expect it to be broken in, and start to look for other solutions if the issue persists.

I had the same issue with my kifaru before I swapped to arrow stays. Has anyone put arrows in the k4?

For me it took a few weeks of wearing it around the house and going on several walks with 30-60 pounds . The lumbar pad keeps getting better the more I wear it.

They at least need to give us a video showing how it will work!

Sorry for the delay on this guys. We had to special order a specific buckle from YKK that I wanted for the quick release function and it took forever to get. They are in production now and we’ll start selling / shipping asap the first week of August.

I’ll be shooting videos and photos of it next Wednesday and we’ll post them up here asap.

I’m very happy with how it turned out. I prioritized having the rifle be secure and out of the way but you can still get it off the pack and to your shoulder in roughly 3-4 seconds.

So excited can't wait!

I've got gift cards burning a hole in my pocket... Going to get the 2200 bag as well in ranger. Have been waiting to do one order for the rifle carrier and smaller bag - do you have decent stock on the 2200s or would it be wise to jump on that now and order the rifle carrier later?

Thanks Steve! Loving my K4!
