The newest prototype frame is 2.5 lbs. my total pack weight with the 6,000 cu in. bag is 4 lbs 5 oz.

So the K4 5,000 is listed at 5 lbs 13 oz and the 7,200 is listed at 5 lbs 15 oz. So about about a 1.5 lb saving if you are looking at the bag and frame combined.

How is the water resistance comparatively? I have been overall impressed with the k4 bag material so far however it saturates after so long.

Was the 6000 still a side zip and roll top or is a horseshoe and roll top?

Side Zip and Roll Top, but it's only a prototype and spec'd to my preferences. Will have to wait and see for final designs.

Does not saturate, atleast the materials I've used. The latest material I have not seen personally yet.
