Hello,

I just recieved my K4 3600 backpack from EXO Mtn Gear and I had a question for other owners on the finishing quality of the frame. I have a big stitching gap on one area of the velco where the shoulder pad connects. You can see it when the pack is on and it just looks second rate like a missed detail. I sent photos to the company and they said it's normal to have stitching gaps in that area. I just think it looks like a poor finishing job especially considering this is supposed to be a high end backpack and all the other similar spots on the frame are finished really clean. Maybe I'm just being picky but I thought I would check in with other owners and see if anyone else has come across this. Pics attached of the gap and the clean finishing of a similar spot....

Not good. Did you find out if it was supposed to be there because I was thinking about ordering a 3600 myself

Yes, it’s supposed to be there. My neighbor’s pack doesn’t have this “feature”, but I’m over thinking about it and homie said I’m covered if it fails. Case closed. Back to waiting for my January hunt….

It’s an awesome pack. Loaded it w/ 40# yesterday and walked about 2 miles. It was so comfortable I forgot I was supposed to be paying attention.

Hey man, Scuba Sam sent me to tell you that you aren't going to make it through Scuba Squad selection when you skim through the discussion, but still comment.

Remember, don't tell a soul and be nice the the delivery guy.

With outrageous shipping costs, folks sure ask a lot of companies, expecting them to eat the cost of shipping for very minor things and returning stuff like it’s nothing. The world isn’t perfect, never has been - look under a $100k truck and it’s not perfect. I could pick apart the sides of high end furniture and find minor stitching inconsistencies. The world isn’t perfect.
If you buy a top shelf piece of equipment/gun/truck/boat etc.. and don't care if its F*&Ked up, then you are either super unlucky, have bad taste, or just have more money than brains with a response like this.

It’s designed that way with a purpose in mind. I bet you also complain about hot tub covers having a zipper - it would be smoother without a zipper on the seam.

Misguided, misinformed, over focused, or otherwise malfunctioning clients and consumers are a fact of life - I’ll never be the ideal person to handle this kind of complaint. It’s a gift to hold hands and try to be reasonable with the unreasonable, overly emotional, and frustrated.
