In for sheep + goat and closed the tab as soon as the malware popped up. The Shop app checkout made it quick for me. Took screenshots of all my confirmations and receipts just in case. Curious if the $13.50 shipping tacked on was intentional for shipping the shirt or not…

Didn’t get a spot. And i’m heading to Kodiak in October for goat. I may still do the challenge if i can get in still. Need to do the work regardless.
Did the 5 mile with a 50 lb pack- i was worried about the step ups but i did 500 with 40 lbs in 25 minutes to get a feel. But that is one boring workout!

I got an entry to both. Did a quick 10 mile morning hunt/walk for the pre hike. Was going to do 30 miles on a hunt this weekend and knock out 24 of them in the first 24 hours but havent seen how we are supposed to track the challenge yet. Tracking it on ONx is a hassle as I have no use for it down here at all and the free sign up link just created me an account with a 7 day trial (just to download it is a hassle outside of North America).

I’m in for the goat tag. I should have been in for both but I have been working 12s and didn’t see the registration. I figured they were going to do a random generator to pick the 500 people, Oh well.
This will be a fun way to get ready for the fall season.

In for a t shirt. I’ve got a moose hunt on the books that starts on the back end of the sheep hunt. There’s no way I could stay married if I happened to win it. “Hey honey, you remember when I said I’d be moose hunting in AK for half of September? Well, I’m actually going to be there for half of August too, sheep hunting.”

A handful of my hunting buddies are in for the sheep hunt and challenge. I’d love to be able to meet one of them in Fairbanks on my way in and hear about their sheep hunt.

Got in for both. I didn’t get the malware but I was in pretty quick. I’m not a gym kind of guy so if for nothing else this will be a good accountability to keep working out. Already dropped almost 10 pounds since they announced it awhile ago.

Didn't they say the entries for sheep/goat were limited to folks living within the US? Or was it a US citizen but could be living anywhere? Obviously it would be worth paying airfare from anywhere to do a free sheep hunt if it's allowable.
