Ok boys, that didnt go as expected at all.
I shot the aluminum version into a 6x6. The broadhead survived but the victory 60 grain stainless insert did not, nor did my arrow.
Blades bent slightly, but upon removal of the blades the ferrule still spun true.
Decided to swap insert componentry this year and went to a 50 grain stainless half out from easton and got a wild hair to try the same thing again with another head. This time the broadhead survived, the arrow survived and shockingly after a hell of a time getting the head out of the wood, it seemed to be in as good or better shape than the first one. I think I can say that my hesitation has been squashed for now.
The top pic is the head prior to the shot, second pic is the broken arrow after the shot with the head still looking good.
Third pic is 2nd arrow and head after the shot. I guess I'm sold
