Who is jocko? And why should I listen him? Is he a good influencer? All I pay attention to anymore is the Bible, hunting, fishing, and shooting. I gave up all news over a year ago and I feel my life has improved greatly since. Between all the freak shows on the left and conspiracies on the right I decided I have had enough and that the odds of me changing anything in that realm are very slim. I will do some research when the next election rolls around, vote, then get back to God, family, and the great outdoors. P.S. I wonder how this Jocko character makes money?

I like Tulsi too, nowadays shes more of a libertarian than anything. Would like to see her on a ticket with someone in the future. I think she's a pretty good "middle of the road" candidate and honestly find it hard to disagree with her on much these days.

I have a lot of respect for anyone who can go through what it take to have the SEAL Budweiser pinned to your chest. I agree with him on his stance on brainwashing. If you severed in the military, your brainwashing started the first day of bootcamp. They take in young green boys, and break them down and turn them into young men who for the better part are proud to be call, Marine, Sailor, Solder, or airman. Now if you chose to go to one of the many liberal colleges, it's not brainwashing its indoctrination.

The majority of these kids wearing masks now aren't doing it because of covid. They use that as an excuse. Their self conscious of how they look and the mask is a comfort for them. We've successfully screwed up a bunch of kids by giving them a way to cover up their face if they don't feel comfortable how they look. Our daughter went through a phase of this and we had to get her professional help, which thankfully worked.

Some news outlets are better than others. I start my day with Reuters which seems to be pretty objective and fact-based. AP is supposed to be pretty good as well. I haven't seen the sensationalism with Reuters that you find from Fox or MSN/CNN and they generally report what appears should be reported on, rather than them injecting bias based on which stories they lead with or they cover.

Nice, personally I find news addicts to be uninteresting. And I cut off the TV over a decade ago, haven't missed it once!

Even though some people know what will “kill” a deer, some people make 1300 grain test arrows because they actually have critical thinking skills. To actually learn and prove how science and physics works regarding arrow penetration on big bone hits. We all already know that almost any weight arrow even with a light weight bow will penetrate soft tissue hits…. even an 800 lb moose.

And critically thinking people use heavy arrows and pull heavier bows because they can. Some just justify light tackle because that is only what they can do and the same get brainwashed by podcasters.
