I went down this rabbit hole and have to say I found several that work well for me. I find the first lite ones to give a slight wedgie (yes I do have a butt, but not a big one, just a normal sprinters butt) but that is minimal in my mind compared to the breath of fresh air they give with the scrote holder in the front. I hate a front wedgie more than a back wedgie, so the ball holder is huge. I find they have worn well and no holes or obvious wear aside from very mild pilling of the merino wool blend, and they do not often stink unless worn for at least two good days in a row. I rarely do that, but it does happen on occassion.
I also have the kuiu boxers, and those are nice. Have worn well and breathe well. No scrote holder but i don't seem to mind as much since the fit on those is good and they breathe so well.
I also have the Stone Glacier boxers and they are similar to the kuiu. These have worn a little more in the crotch but no holes, just seems like the fabric is thinning, but again, no holes or change in function.
I also have 2 pair of lulu lemon boxers, one is a pure synthetic blend and has held up well, has a cooling effect so they are great to wear, but they do collect stank quick with any kind of work. No way I would ever take them in the field due that, but for every day wear when changing daily, they are comfortable and very nice fit The other is a different blend, feels softer in the hand, and wears about the same. They also will get odoriferous with any kind of work. But for daily wear, I find these very nice as well. I looked them up and they are the Built to move, and Always in Motion, I have one of each.
I also have some bamboo ones I got from Cariloha but the waist elastic has lost its flex and they sag terribly so they are useless now. But while they had elastic in the waist, they were very comfortable as well
