Had some tough and low times myself. On one of the more recent ones I realized I had gotten through everything life had thrown at me before, I was battle tested, and I could get through anything. That helps me not sweat things as much--it doesn't totally relieve me of stress, but it helps me take the beatings with a smile.

This, too, shall pass.

When it rains it pours. My last two weeks consisted of putting my old dog down the day before a hunting trip(I've cried less when family members passed), a flat a couple days later when I got back to my truck, broke my cell phone the next day which ate up a half day and $500. On the way home from the store I got a call that my nephew had been diagnosed with leukemia. Week later I took the new pup out and shot his first limit of roosters thinking things were turning around. Only to notice shortly after he ran himself through the fence on the last bird requiring 17 stitches. Now I'm just waiting for the next thing. I'm convinced my truck will crap out on me heading home for thanksgiving to top everything off.

I think we must be brothers. Last 2 years have been awful but I’m still kicking and making CO2.

Not sure if you have kids or plan to in the future.

I am in the middle of writing a book about all the things I have been through in life along with the ways I was able to get through it and how I dealt with it to give to them when they turn 18.

We are who we are because of the experiences we have. Life absolutely sucks at times and is very hard but it's not over until it's over.

Keep your head up, things can and will get better it just might take some time.

Virtual fist bump sent your way.

Just keep your head up. You can get through this.
Not going to lie it’s been a damn struggle. I can’t imagine loosing what you have but it’s been a struggle for sure.

our house got flooded, lost a lot of our stuff insurance is doing everything possible to get out of paying anything.
The real kick in the Dick and what really knocked the wind outta my sails is it was a week from closing and putting us in a position to be 100% debit free and able to pursue our dreams and me being able to leave a job I’m starting to really hate and do my own thing full time.

then my main truck messed up and still haven’t fixed it

now sitting with more debit than I ever have had with not a pot to piss in, having to live with in laws, still no work being done on our house and no chance of selling it.

When an average Joe sees the kinds of hunts we do, they take a step back and say "man that looks hard".

Hiking 10+ miles a day is easy when you've been through the kind of stuff mentioned in this thread.

All, take it one step at a time. I've been in situations recently where I literally had to ask myself what I needed to get done in the next hour just to get through the day.

Remember that hardship carves character and years from now you will be stronger for having endured what you now must.
