Recieved this link today and was kinda dumbfounded why they wouldn't let him have it, but had to laugh.

I dont get it, since when should a state determine what kind of taste you should have? there shouldnt be rejected plates unless it has already been used.

I dont see the first one but Utah denied "SourMash" for my jeep..... However i switched it to SRMASH and went righ through. They said the public eye cant read it as alcohol or drug referance here...

If I remember right I did have to jump a few raised eyebrow hurdles when I first applied for the plates. Once I got it no problem since! As I think back I think it's been closer to 20 years I've had it, it's been on several different rigs now.

Seriously, crazy why some of those were rejected...this political correctness just kills me. I bet it would be Ok in Australia where signs like this- below- are Ok

my veggie friend got her choice rejected.

luvtofu. she eats a lot of TOFU.

she was bummed and i informed her that is could also be read as "love to eff you"..hahaha..which is probably how the DMV interpreted it. she is pretty innocent and never realied the gutter version.

Well when I read it my mind immediately interpreted the gutter version, so I don't know what that says about me...

ARROWEM got rejected on me here in CA. The reject letter said they will not allow anything using profanity or that is culturally insensitive. WTF? So I now have BOWNARO. Maybe only 1 in 3 people get it, and I get asked if I am Italian a lot. My other rig says HNTJEEP. A guy pulled up to me at a stop light in another Jeep the other day. He shouted out his window, "hey, my last name is Hunt too!" I just shook my head. Californians are clueless, I'll admit.

I've had mine for about 20 years (BO HNTR) here in the Golden State.....wonder if I could still get it today.
