Great topic..
So given all of this great info, would you make your top pin 30 yards?

5-pin 30-70 yds is what I do

I shot one at 54yds when I was younger, and other than that bull, I can only think of one more over 30yds. most of my shooting is top pin. i'm not opposed shooting one at 40yds with my compound, but I like getting close. I will say, it seems more goes wrong inside 10yds.... it's hard to do things right with that urgency, but that's where they end up more times than not.

if I could pick the distance for a shot, it would probably be 22-23yds.... close without being too close.

I go 25-35-45, i float my middle pin. Top pinned more then half, only floated one shot in a lot of years.
