I treasure that hot mt house on those cold september hunting nights. And that hot cup of joe works great to get that mt house moving OUT in the am and the head fog cleared.
Ill even use the jet boil for a hot cup of tea or decaf coffee before bed too.
I use the mt house heating bag to warm my hands, feet while its "cooking" I get triple duty out of one. Food, Body Heat and Comfort. Im a skinny dude with little fat over the bones and get cold easily. That mt house heater is AWESOME!
Its HUGE morale booster and creature comfort for me. That hiss of the jetboil makes it "real" for me.

You loved it

I've never took stuff for hot meals while hunting. Peanut butter sandwiches and water keep me happy.. I had a good friend force me to eat some of his mountain house meal , my bowels worked overtime after that.

Ive used the mountain house bags filled with boiling water (then placed in a waterproof stuff sack) to keep my sleeping bag warm!
