Electric Scooter for Mountain Roads?

Hi all.

Hear me out: why wouldn't a powerful enough electric scooter work great for running up and down motorized vehicle USFS/BLM roads? Obviously they are not as capable as an ebike, but they're smaller, cheaper, and can actually fit in a vehicle. Plus, being able to choose a single-track line, I'd imagine they would be far smoother than bouncing along at 5 mph in a truck for a few miles. Also, when hunting with a partner, it would make things much easier to have 2 "vehicles" at the ready.

Anyone mess around with one? Thanks,

Pete

OP, you've been reading my mail.

I hunt solo and stashing one of these with a high torque motor at one end of my hunt and parking the truck at the other makes a lot of sense to me. Stash the bow on the pack, zip back to the truck on a FS road, rinse repeat. Huge time saver as a solo hunter is my thought. Chain and locked to a tree just iff the road where you lip out keeps it secure. An extra battery or two keeps it running.

No way I'd hunt from it, or do a single track. Smaller than a small enduro, less effort than an ebike or bicycle. Limited in use, sure. Very soecifically use case, yup. But the quicker Im back to the truck after I've checked/ hunted on foot what I want, the faster I'm checking out another spot.
