Was thinking about getting the 10D on the outside instead of the 20D this time around to help it breathe a little better.. What do you guys think? Too fragile? Not water resistant enough?

I just went with the 10D but with 20D only at the head and feet sections to help fight off with condensation but the bulk of the body will breathe.
I use a synthetic quilt when the weather is wet...especially when hammock camping.
Why is a synthetic more important when using a hammock?
When you have an inadequate hammock tarpAn underquilt can get spray/splash on it in bad weather, top quilt no issues with a proper tarp.
