EC Tuner Break vs ??

Considering throwing an EC Tuner Break on my 6.5 CM. Can is not an option, I live in the land of psycho liberal gun laws, AKA California.

Originally I was not going to because I have a 24" proof and was not looking to make it any longer. With the consideration of competing in an NRL Hunter Light next year, I am looking for any advantage to improve recoil for accuracy, target accusation, and impact identification.

Open to other recommendations, but the EC seems to have a good track record.

Thanks

I had a self timer and used it as a tuner. Not as fine since you have to do 1/2 turn at a time but it worked on my rifle. It's been a while but I think I was 1 turn out; 5 port SRS Ti brake.

I've got a Seekins ATC, and MBM Beast 3 port sitting on my reloading table I'd sell ya either for a good deal, both self timing. Tuner brakes are a fallacy, every statistically valid test I've ever seen proves they don't work. Cortina is quite the salesman though.

Lots of good brakes out there, figure out which attributes matter most to you. Some are going to be louder at shooter, some will shoot flatter, some will reduce recoil more. Volume at shooter and recoil reduction are frequently pretty at odds with each other but there are some good compromise options out there.

I can't stand sharp brakes and would look for something on the milder end of the spectrum or with some of those blast diverter dealios that are coming out now to block some of the rearward concussion.

I had one before going suppressed. But it was also before I learned about sample size. So me trying to convert from a Fudd thought it was working.
Not even sure how to set one up now and tune it using a bigger sample size.
You'd probably have to buy factory ammo and lots of it and treat it as load dev.
Fire 10, adjust, fire 10, adjust... etc...
Not sure id mess with one again with what I know now and reloading. At the time I was buying factory.
