Hoping to get some input from people who have used any of these packs.
I'm looking for a day pack for the cold season here in Canada, for trips in the woods with around 20lbs of gear. I may also use it for rucking with 30lbs.
I'm torn between the freefall 2000, the hispeed II, and the switchblade. All three have sufficient capacity and I have tried several other packs in the past for this purpose. The one Ive liked most so far was the HPG umlindi, but something about the way it carried didnt work well for me. I have a Ute and dont have any problems with it.
Anyone who has tried one of these packs, how was the comfort/ride? If you have used other packs from HPG, Exo, Mystery Ranch etc how do they compare?
Also, if you've tried the freefall how does the new thicker padded yoke feel compared to the older, leaner eberlestock suspension in the other packs I mentioned?
Thanks in advance
