Hello,

Description says it. I need a day pack. It shouldn’t be big enough to haul meat if necessary. I’m talking optics, food, water, other hunting gear.

I want one that is easy to shoot off of or even better I can strap a shoot bag to for quick and easy building of a shooting position.

Bonus if it has a way to attach a gun carrier but this isn’t a necessity.

Any recommendations?

I use my military surplus assault pack. It has tons of room, I can clip my Molinator on it, and it didn’t cost me anything.

The new Mystery Ranch Pop Ups have a 1/4" thread on the frame. You could put one of these on it. I have no idea how stable it would be.

My only day pack is an old kifaru 14er, I’m not a huge fan of it but I’ve never been bothered by it enough to change. I’ve shot off it a good bit, I sort of rigged my molinator to it for when I’m heading out intending to shoot.

I have used my EXO 5K, but the Teratorn, with its exterior shock cord, is really easy to use. I only really use it at the range, since I cannot go prone most of the time due to the brush in my area.
Another issue to be aware of with a shooting bag on your pack is that the pack needs to stay packed to a certain level; if you take gear out, the position changes. Adding gear does the same thing.
