Hi guys,

My buddy and I have 6 points each for WY antelope and are debating about burning them this year. For you guys who live out there - how has the winter been? I know there's a lot of winter left but I thought I'd try to get some intel on how it's been so far. We're leaning towards burning the points but as we still have a few months to go before the application period ends, we'll keep an eye on things as well as see what the quotas are once that information is available and decide whether to go for it or not.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Been mild so far over here but the worst months are yet to come, March and April.
We are getting some moisture now but the plains need it badly.
Hoping for NO heavy wet 3 ft snow in March or April, smaller wet snows would be great.
Forecasts are calling for colder, wetter March.

Pronghorn are looking ok around here, Laramie area.

Ditto. Drove through the Red Desert yesterday and it's open as heck. Higher elevations of the plains on the west side have some snow but can't imagine it'll have a noticeable impact unless we get a hammer of a storm, which can certainly happen.

Still have to wait for hundreds of pronghorn to cross the road while they're holding their "winter conventions" as I like to call em. Haha. Can't beat Wyoming's pronghorn numbers even when they're down.
