I'll preface with I HATE wearing gloves. However, I also have/get very cold hands. Possibly Raynaud's. Anyhow, I live in the PNW and once temps hit the 40s and the rain hits I'll get to a point where I can't sit and have to walk just to get the blood flowing enough to get my hands warm. I don't like the bulk of 90% of gloves and the idea that a pair of normal gloves can cost $60-100 because they are camo or have "your favorite camo company" printed on them is outrageous.

So, what are you running or what do you recommend?

I am a generalist, archery and rifle.

I've been wearing leather buckskin work gloves so far this year. Like $15-$20. Cut the wind well, generally waterproof, very durable and keep my hands warm for the most part. I also get cold hands when sitting for a while so I use a pair of down/puffy gloves for long sits. Non-Hunting branded ones can be had for $50.

Mechanix they have one called the tactical cold work for about $30.

The kuiu guide glove is my favorite hunting glove for mid temps but they are pricey.

I personally can't do the mechanix style gloves for active wear as I get too much moisture build up.
I do almost always have a pair of Kuiu Guide gloves with me and they'll last about 3-4 seasons.
I personally haven't figured out a way to not have ~4 pairs of gloves with me when the temps drop. My hands get hot easily and they also get painfully cold + I have a finger that was frostbitten back in 2000 on a mountaineering trip and it gets super sensitive.

I do have a pair of $25 neoprene ice fishing gloves that I occasionally employ, but they are difficult to dry out on a backcountry hunt and you need to keep them on once you put them on as the smallest amount of sweat will make getting them back on difficult. They do work in the right situations though.
