Does anyone have a recommendation for a good E-bike, mainly for fitness but would like something to hunt from as well.

I got the quietkat at a great price when they had a big sale. Even with the price I got I wish I would have gone with more of a bike store brand now that I know how much I use it for stuff other than hunting. Bike store brands peddle assist and bike weights are a lot more like riding a actual bike where mines like a tank. I actually stripped out my rear hub a couple weeks ago and bought a new wheelset from https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/ebikes-electric-bikes-at-near-wholesale.html they had some great prices on ebikes if you can do your own repairs. Otherwise bike shop for a specialized, trek, giant etc

I have a Yamaha. It’s sweet. I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but it’s a full suspension bike that rides great with27.5 3+ inch tires. Riding it with a backpack and rifle works fine, but it doesn’t have racks for extra gear or anything

I added a Bafang motor to a specialized fatboy. It is sweet for what it is. I also bought a crf 250f. This last weekend my son rode the ebike and I putted along behind him on the motorcycle. It worked out pretty well, but the ebike battery was shot on the second day. I like the ebike, but love the motorcycle. You can’t beat the range and speed it can get you places.
If it were me, I would consider getting a dirt bike and use and regular bike to help get in shape.

That's awesome, I didn't know it was an option. I race a YZ250F and the bike is to help keep the HR in zone 3 training for a 2 hours races. Have fun on the CR!
