You’ll still be fine with a smaller caller. I’ve called in plenty of bears in the thick timber of NE Washington with small e callers. And they’re significantly lighter to pack around@khart_6882 Thank you for the feedback, I'm in western Washington state so I'm looking for a call that can cut through dense forest.
In heavy timber? I'd guess not...@khart_6882 Thank you for the feedback, I'm in western Washington state so I'm looking for a call that can cut through dense forest.
Nothin' says your phone has to be in your pocket. Stick it in the crook of a nearby tree.Bluetooth speakers have very limited range that you can be away from the speaker. I like roughly 50 yards between me and my e call. Also, there’s a lot of good options out there under $500. Check out the foxpro prowler and hellcat.
Unless your trying to bring in coyotes from 2 miles away through the Wyoming wind, you probably don’t need a big ol dual speaker call.
I'd go for the e-caller then. I want them in my lap at times and we have plenty of cougar as well. I carry my mouth call, blue tooth speaker and a mojo to set out at 30-50y, In closer if I'm gonna use my treestand. I plan on hunting cougar here too more this year.@Kodiak06 I have an extremely high density of mountain lions in my area and would like a 50 - 100 yard off set to hunt those as well.
true but, ya need a LONG sequence and nothing else can play. I've seen youtube sounds used and an add play lolNothin' says your phone has to be in your pocket. Stick it in the crook of a nearby tree.
