Greetings,

Currently looking at E callers for the upcoming year. Higher end e calls range from $500 - $1300. Is my money better spent on just buying a large bluetooth speaker and using a game call app, like the one made by Doug Boze?

Bluetooth speakers have very limited range that you can be away from the speaker. I like roughly 50 yards between me and my e call. Also, there’s a lot of good options out there under $500. Check out the foxpro prowler and hellcat.
Unless your trying to bring in coyotes from 2 miles away through the Wyoming wind, you probably don’t need a big ol dual speaker call.

Has anyone tried the Rascal? I'd be interested but I don't believe their claims of 100 yards for a Bluetooth. I lose a connection in my EarPods after about 50'.

Yes, I have one. Its worked for me from over 100 yards away, it puts out a stronger signal than the average bluetooth device

@khart_6882 Thank you for the feedback, I'm in western Washington state so I'm looking for a call that can cut through dense forest.
You’ll still be fine with a smaller caller. I’ve called in plenty of bears in the thick timber of NE Washington with small e callers. And they’re significantly lighter to pack around

Why not just use a mouth call? I have a jbl speaker that I put about 30yds away but my mouth call's louder, I just add a mojo deek to the mix
