Curious about their products. I like to buy American made when I can. Is it quality stuff? What's the fit like? And what's your favorite piece?

I bought a discontinued Tshirt a while ago. Fit was great, fabric was great, never washed it. Went home for a holiday and mom washed it without knowing it was wool. Needless to say it ended up going to my sister.

If I could afford the stuff I would buy leggings and long sleeve plus a crew or some sorts. It's some of the best wool I've had between icebreaker, kuiu, and smartwool.

Great product. Check out my photos I have attached in another thread. I have been wearing two tops since October. Zero itch, it is a quality wood product, resistant to the stink factor, but as noted by slick be careful when washing &or drying as it will shrink:) I have the vapor hoody the grey shirt which dries very quickly and have been wearing on my climbs and then changing into the heavier green top/Snorkel Hoody when the climb is over. So far no tears on the grey top and a few on the green one. As with any wool it will snag on brush so best to have another layer over then when in brush. Fit is very nice as noted, great fabric and when season is done the vapor will be used a lot going to the gym. A very comfortable hoody that breaths exceptionally well.

I love the Comet and Powder pieces but Polaris was a huge disappointment to me.

I run Duckworth pretty much exclusively for base and mid layers. The vapor long sleeve shirt and the comet hoody with a wind proof jacket cover most weather. If it’s super cold i add a powder hoody. They make very good products albeit expensive.

I can't tell if I'm just a lot bigger wuss about cold than you or you just don't hunt in as cold conditions lol.

I run the comet crew and leggings as a base in anything colder than 55 degrees. Absolutely love them. I layer wool on top of that depending on the temperature and finish off with a windproof vest. The Powder Hoodie is very warm, and I use it as a mid layer a lot

I waterfowl hunted from 10am to 4pm in a vapor long sleeve, powder hoody and a sitka duck oven jacket. It was a high of -5. I was plenty warm.

I guess it depends on what you're wearing as your outer layer. I assume the Duck oven is pretty warm.

I ran the vapor hoody several years ago…very fine, soft and breathable…did not wash it enough and got a bad stink from too much sweat.

Let it run too many days without wash and stink would dissipate but never leave…likely operator error.

They have the Powder Hoodie available in the Spruce color now and damn I'm tempted. I love my grey powder hoodie and I love the spruce color.

But I have other stuff I need to save the money for more 😢

Bought the spruce colored powder hoody. Has to be the softest wool I’ve ever tried and doesn’t itch like most. Has become my new favorite piece.

I have the wool cloud jacket and would definitely agree with how warm and wind proof it is. Much nicer than the synthetic puffy jackets.

I love the Powder Hoodie...just a little disappointed the amount of polyester in it. Wish the % of wool was higher for the price.

Cannot complain with the warmth and comfort though.

I have a few pieces and love all of them. I wear them hunting and around the house for chores and out around town. The powder hoody is my favorite, it's a bit bulky for backcountry hunting but dang it's comfy and fits perfectly. The comet hoody is nice too for layering or stand alone. It's comfortable enough to wear next to skin and just baggy enough for a mix of moisture transfer and air flow. Also have the base layer and have been wearing it for three years, sometimes days on end hunting. It's still in great shape and I love the spruce color. Their socks are great too. Still wearing a couple pair that I've had for a few years now. The lightweight are my go to for warm Temps and the midweight with smart wool liner is perfect for cold to frigid. I also have the lightweight 3/4 Bottoms but only wear them when it's freezing cold as they're not zip offs.

Either of you have experiences with the kifaru LLP or SG Grumman? If so, is the duckworth equal in warmth? Or close?
