Awesome write up. I shot a boar this spring that was about the same size this spring, looked huge to me! Tough to tell 2-3 inches of skull size from a distance and In the heat of the moment. I can’t wait to start applying for tags again in a few years. If you don’t mind me asking what did you guys see for deer numbers there this spring? Population look good?

Great tale. 15 year old bear seems to me a great one to take regardless of sex. Amazing beasts those Kodiak bears.
