Dream Gear Setup

Hey all,

Im curious if you could do it all over with your hunting gear what direction would you go. What would be your dream set up. Not so much clothing wise but the actual gear like pack, glass, cookware, camp…. Give me your favorites!

I feel im dialed, for the most part

-Exo K3 4800

-El Coyote 15° quilt
-BA Ins pad(this could be upgrade)
-Durston Xmid-1 or Kifaru Sawtooth w/stove

Swaro EL Range 10x42
Swaro STX 85 Spotter(contemplating change, seems to have mirage issue 1st half of season)

Jetboil stove(model?)

I think I'm as dialed as I'm going to get for hunting in Arizona. I'd do a few things differently if I was hunting somewhere with more inclement weather.

• Seek Outside 5400 Pack
• Hammock Gear Quilts - 40 degree gets used 99% of the time. I take the 20 degree if we're going somewhere else (CO/MT/WY)
• Big Agnes Zoom UL/Nemo Tensor Extreme pads - Will mix/match with the quilt depending on weather.
• Borah Gear 7x9 Tarp & Bivy or Argali Absaroka with SO SXL stove - Again, weather/location dependent
• Soto Windmaster Triflex with Toaks 750ml Pot - Light and efficient
• Vortex Razor HD 10x42s & Razor 13-39x56 Spotter - They work well enough for me. I'm not convinced I'd be finding any more game with an optics upgrade right now.

If I was somewhere with inclement weather, I'd strongly consider a fully enclosed 1/2 person shelter like an Argali Rincon with a full nest. An optics upgrade to the alpha glass would be nice, but there are other things in life higher on my priority list.
