Dr Karl Miller - Sitka Elevated pattern

I have a ton of EVII and I think the biggest factor is washing with a good non UV soap and letting it air dry outside for a day or two prior to wearing. If I do that with ANY camo I have, I normally have good results.

I like wearing it around the people that talk shit and don't like it. I've never had a problem with it and don't think it matters all too much.

Definitely agree on washing your stuff in the right soap. I really love the banter about what works and what doesn’t. I totally get why people love it and I also can’t help but make fun of myself for wearing it at times lol. My hunting buddies dad passed away this past summer, and he’s probably killed more animals than all of us in this thread combined all over the world. Not a piece of camo in any of his old pictures. I appreciate both sides

I’ve killed all sorts of animals in elevated, verde, vias, jeans, black, gray, tan so I don’t know maybe I’m just lucky

I have a good amount of Sitka. I have a lot in EVII and a lot in Subalpine.

I am primarly a whitetail hunter - in Missouri ...with a few mule deer hunts under my belt. My findings....

I get spotted a lot more in my EVII in a treestand. EVII clothes are prepped the same exact ways that I treat my SA pattern. The SA pattern, to me, is by far the most versatile color in Sitkas lineup. I have hunted in saddles, stands, on the ground and deer won't "see" me unless Im moving. Heck Ive had deer walk 10 yards from me this year while bow hunting and I was standing up.

Meanwhile, the EVII I can be statue still and still get the famous deer head bob back and forth and I havent moved an inch. The main reason I still have EVII is simply because of the garments offered. I like my incinerator.
Honestly my favorite "late season" patterrn is the KUIU Valo. I just dont know about their superdown haven compared to the incinerator.
