I keep an old Altoids tin filled with what I consider my emergency kit. Most of the stuff in it is less than a dollar: Zip ties, needle and thread, super glue, pain killers, rubber bands, etc.

I've never used anything except my hunting boots as my camp shoes.

slip-on shoes are way easier to deal with at night when making a pee run and hanging out around camp...

Tweezers become many times more valuable when you hunt AZ, or somewhere else where all the vegetation wants to stick you.

exactly!

sure Tanya, tweezers work for you but what about Ryan. Not a hair on his body tweezers could handle. Does $store have pliers

I like the powerade for drinking and then refill the bottles with urine in the tent at night.

I like the milk that doesn't need to be refrigerated for bringing to camp. Cost a $1 a box and tastes pretty good. Plus lots of food for trail snacks and sardines for a buck...lol (pretty much same price as Wally World though)

milk? I would have never thought to try that

Altoid tins are also good for medications

Toilet paper is generally less than $1. I bring a half roll and smash it flat so the center is flat so it fits better in my pack. If you take from a hotel it’s free (kinda, your bill pays for it). Multiple uses: pooping, marking blood trail, wind indicator, deer estrous wick, and probably other uses.

Take TP from the hotel??? I don't know what kind of prison rules hunting camp you run, but if you're running the 1 ply garbage they stock in 90% of hotels you need to raise your standards man!

If it's not charmin its not coming along!

So for you I suggest $.99 bottle of sanitizer for that accidental break through. . .

I agree with String&stick, spend an extra and upgrade the 1 ply TP! Your rear and hand will thank because break throughs with el cheapo TP will happen! Now you have to worry about Bears and break throughs on the mountain!

Scott’s 1-ply all the way. One roll will last you 3 hunting seasons.
