You mean they make non rusty ones??? At the rate I go through them, they all seem to have a spot here or there.

Why? It's like putting dirty gasoline in your car...yeah it might work fine short-term but long-term you are asking for problems.

If the rust has formed during the current season I fire them. It’s usually surface rust however since I don’t have to deal with salt and heavy corrosion.

curious, expand on long term problems....
What I mean is that, most rusty ammo will likely not cause issues. However, over time, minor surface rust turns into major corrosion which would not be advisable to shoot for many reasons...safety probably being top of the list.
