Both, pheasant hunting in a group is great for the comraderie, but I also have a blast just me and my dog. Deer hunt by myself or with my brother, as our hunting style is very similar

I hunt alone quite a bit, unless my hunting partner, which is my son, doesn't have school, Or if I have friends from out of state here hunting. I find solitude good for the soul, and enjoy the quietness. I have a system for when I get an elk or deer on the ground and while it works for me, it would be nice to have someone to tag along to share the load.

I hunt alone most if the time, but also like sharing the experience with friends or teaching people that have never experienced hunting before.

Prefer to hunt with a buddy, but often do alone. Either way, it's pretty much the same. With a buddy, I likely see him once in the morning and then again at the end of the day with a few radio calls in between.

It's good to know that there is someone in the general area that can help out if need be.
