I'll preface this by saying I picked up some college courses a couple years ago to open more opportunities for myself in the future. I actually posted about this while I was debating doing it. Turns out this (along with other contributing factors obviously) might actually payoff as I'm currently being considered for a role with a significant pay raise.
I've wanted a nice 1911/2011 for probably 20 years, but could never really "justify" spending that much. I'm currently carrying a 365 macro AIWB. I have a G19 that I carry OWB for the typical outdoors stuff. Which Staccato carries about the same as a Macro length wise? The macro length is about all I can carry without it getting painful sitting, squatting, etc. I'm planning to order a Tenicor Certum to see how the G19 carries AIWB for another size reference.
The C seems that it would be the best "all around" option that could replace most of what I currently have. Although, I'm not sure if I'd wanna beat the snot out of it in the "outdoors" role when I have a G19 for that.
The CS would obviously be the easiest to carry but that's it's only pro that I can come up with.
The P would be an awesome range gun, but that's it.
I keep coming back to the C, but want to hear others thoughts. The new HD doesn't interest me as much, and I have no interest in being a beta tester.
