Camo Franchi Affinity 20 gauge at Eurooptic for $899 would be what I'd go with. Might be a 26" barrel though.

1100s in 3” shortest was 26”
1100 Youth and special field came with 21”, some early sf had 23” fixed chokes but all were 2 3/4”
Have a Youth with 21” Remchoke with stock extension use for dove and quail, light and quick.
Have an 1187 Special 20 nib came with cantilever fully rifled barrel, found a 1187 youth 21” 3” barrel for it, is my backup when the other wears out.

EAA 20 gauge Gobbler, comes with red dot, 24 inch bbl. and 5 chokes including Turkey. Shoots excellent and is very reliable. I love mine under $500

I really enjoy carrying my Affinity 3, barrel is 26" though so if you can deal with that it is what I would go with. The only time my 12 comes out any more is for geese and some duck hunts.

Took one of my Rem. 1100's and had the barrel cut down to 24" and had screw in chokes installed. Love the way it handles for Pheasants and rabbits compared to the 28" it was before.

I would buy a Benelli ultra light or a Beretta 3 or 400. Not a fan of Remington, clunky and heavy, never liked them!

Ive had a 26” 1187 20 gauge since they came out. Great gun. It’s killed turkeys, ducks, doves, quail, squirrels rabbits, and a few deer. The only other 20 I might would trade it for is a Beretta 390 / 391.

If you can find one, a browning silver hunter micro midas has a 24" barrel. LOP is 13", not really that bad. Didn't think I would like that short but it's actually kind of nice.

Benelli Montefeltro or M2 would be a great place to start. I'd avoid any of the Turkish made stuff.

Coming from a 20g 870, a 12g 1187, a 20g 1100, a 20g viper g2, a 410 viper g2, and a 12g citori, I find my self grabbing the 20g viper g2 more often than not for squirrel, rabbit, deer (season permitting) upland, skeet, trap because 9/10 it works, 9/10 it's fine for brush busting, and 9/10 it's the right gun.

I've moved away from safe queens, multitudes and paired down to one rifle-one shotgun- and noticed my competency, proficiency and general experiences have increased.

Next up is pairing down to 1 pistol.

I would go with the Franchi, M2 or Montefeltro. I bought my son a Franchi Compact and now he has outgrown it but I was able to order a full size stock and now I am going to use it as a turkey gun. It is ultralight and a bad little gun. I would be wary of a Turkish copy myself.

Benelli franchi or beretta any of those will be great I recommend going and holding each. Then decide which one feels the best.

Another here for the Franchi Affinity. Made it into my Primary Turkey Gun.
Have a CZ Redhead AT in 20 gauge as another option. Know it's not a true semi in the sense you're wanting, but I love that gun too.
