DIY Saddle rig/setup they'd like to share?

As far as saddle goes, I bought a Tethrd Mantis. I'm a newbie saddle hunter, and on a tight budget, but didn't really want to try to DIY the saddle for safety concerns. I'm going to DIY my platform though using a couple WE stepps and a plywood insert I saw. Pretty neat idea and cheaper than forking out the $ for the Predator platform!

I want to ditch the hang-on this year. It's less than 20lbs but these saddle-bowhunters got me thinking...

Anyone have tips/tricks or their own setup to share?

I would buy the phantom, it’s nice, you can save some money by making your own tether, line mans belt and you can even make you own platform if you know a decent welder.
